Berkley Europe names Florian Eisele Head of, Europe

W. R. Berkley Europe AG (“Berkley Europe”) announced today the appointment of Florian Eisele as Head of Specialties, Europe and as a member of Berkley Europe’s leadership team. In this newly created role, he will set and implement Berkley Europe’s strategy for the Specialties business. In addition, he will lead the pursuit of opportunities to expand Berkley Europe’s business into new territories within Europe. He is based in Zurich.

Florian joins Berkley Europe with nearly 20 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. His prior experience includes both technical and leadership roles with a particular focus in the commercial insurance market. He was previously a country manager in Switzerland and most recently, a Director of Accident & Health for Continental Europe, Middle East and North Africa, at a leading international insurance company.
